Holy Trinity Adult Faith Formation

There are several processes that are available to Adults in the Parish

  • Discovering Catholicism (OCIA)

Discovering Catholicism is the process for adults to enter the Catholic Church and receive the Sacraments. It consists of classes about the Catholic faith, small group discussions, fellowship and prayer, all of which culminate in making a Profession of Faith and receiving the Sacraments.

Sessions will be on Thursdays and start on September 11 in the Social Hall at Holy Trinity at 5:45 PM – 7:30 on. Dinner and childcare will be provided.

  • Adult Confirmation

For adults who are Catholic and desire to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, we will be using the Discovering Catholicism program to prepare them intellectually and spiritually to receive the Sacrament. Candidates for Adult Confirmation will have fellowship, dinner, and similar lessons with the rest of the Discovering Catholicism program.

Sessions will be on Thursdays and start on September 11 in the Social Hall at Holy Trinity at 5:45 PM – 7:30 on. Dinner and childcare will be provided.

  • Spiritual Formation for Adults

One of the most important things we clergy need to do is teach on the interior life. This coming year we will use the very comprehensive and systematic book Fulfillment of All Desire by Ralph Martin to teach anyone who is interested in growing in prayer and their relationship with God. Books will be available for purchase ($20).

Two options available – starting September 17

  • Holy Trinity after the 9am Mass in the Social Hall
  • Star of the Sea from 6 – 7:30pm in Camerman Hall (same time as Faithworks, Fraternus and Fidelis)
