Faith Formation Commission

This Commission consists of the Pastor and/or his designated representative, the Director of Faith Formation, the Youth Minister and up to 10 members, including, if available, a student representative. The Commission works with the Pastor, Director of Faith Formation, Youth Minister and the parish community in a manner inspired by and in response to the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

The Commission assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of programs and offerings for the religious formation of all parishioners, supports and promotes the work of the Faith Formation Department and monitors all Faith Formation programs. It also is responsible for rendering advice, ideas and recommendations to the Faith Formation staff which will support the programs and the continuing spiritual growth of all parishioners.

In addition, the FF Commission organizes and hosts several functions throughout the year such as Advent Family Sunday, Scholarship Fund Car Wash, Scholarship Fund Pancake Breakfast and Junior High Activity Fund Car Wash. They also spearheaded the annual parish “Bark-in” in June to help beautify our parish grounds, which has always been a resounding success.

The Faith Formation Commission meets monthly at 6:00p.m. on various Tuesday evenings. Meeting dates for the 2011-2012 academic year are:
